Select 38mm / 40mm / 41mm / 42mm
Series 1–3, 42mm
Select 44mm / 45mm / 46mm / 49mm

Will Older Apple Watch Bands Still Fit?
In many cases, yes. Apple has maintained broad band compatibility across generations, so older Apple Watch bands can often be used with newer models as long as they stay within the same size group.
- Bands made for 38mm, 40mm, and 41mm models also fit 42mm Series 10–11 models.
- Bands made for 44mm and 45mm models also fit 46mm Series 10–11 and 49mm Apple Watch Ultra models.
- Older 42mm bands from Series 1–3 belong to the larger size group and remain compatible with 44mm, 45mm, 46mm, and 49mm models.
This makes it possible to continue using many existing Apple Watch bands when upgrading to a newer watch.

Apple Watch Case Size vs. Band Length
Your Apple Watch case size determines which band connector size will fit your watch. It does not indicate the length of the band or the wrist size it will fit.
For example, a 41mm Apple Watch uses the 38mm / 40mm / 41mm / 42mm compatibility group, but band length can vary by style. Check the product page for available lengths and sizing information before ordering.
