What You'll Need to Begin
In order to shop for a watch band, you'll need to know what size band the watch accepts, this is also referred to as the watch's lug width or lug size (the area in which the band will fit and attach to the watch). If you know the watches brand and model, you can often find it's lug width through a quick google search. Alternatively, you can measure the lug width with the centimeter side of a standard ruler (See Image Below) and then simply convert centimeters to millimeters by moving the decimal one place to the right (example 2.2cm = 22mm). Once you have this information, you are ready to start the search for the perfect watch band!
What About the Length?
Most men wear a standard size watch band that will comfortably fit wrists up to 7.25" in circumference. An XL strap is recommended for those with wrists between 7.3" and 8.5." Wrists that exceed this size will require XXL straps.
