Invicta Pro Diver Watch Options

Sep 20th 2021

Panatime recently purchased a stylish Invicta Pro Diver watch to explore the different types of watch bands that work well with the Invicta Pro Diver series. We expected to find a handful of straps that paired nicely, but we ended up finding dozens of straps that all looked amazing on our Pro Diver. So, we decided to write this blog to talk a bit about the watch, but mostly to feature a selection of our favorite straps for this timepiece.

About the Invicta Pro Diver Series

The Invicta Pro Diver is one of the most popular Invicta Watches on the market. The Pro-Diver comes in many variations that differ in movement type, case size, finish, and color schemes. At a glance, the Invicta Pro Diver’s design appears strikingly similar to the Rolex Submariner - a luxurious and highly desirable swiss timepiece. No doubt, part of the draw to the Pro Diver series is having a well-built watch that draws inspiration from the Rolex Submariner…and it’s available for a fraction of the price.

Quick Specifications & Our Review of The Watch

This article takes a closer look at the Invicta Pro Diver 8928OB. This watch is currently on sale at Amazon.com for only $77.00 (List Price: $119.00). This Pro Diver features a 24 Jewel Japanese Automatic Movement, a 40mm Case, Mineral Crystal, Water Resistance to 200 meters, and a 20mm stainless steel band.

There’s a lot to like about this Invicta. The 40mm watch case is the perfect size for those with an average size wrist. While on the wrist, the case doesn’t look too big or too small – it’s just right! The watch itself has a decent weight and the construction appears solid. The magnified date display makes the date easy to read even when the watch is 2-3 feet away. The rotating bezel requires a moderate degree of effort to spin and makes a satisfying click with each turn.

There are a few things that could make this watch better, but only one thing that we really disliked - the stainless-steel watch bracelet. The Invicta Pro Diver 8928OB comes standard with a dual-tone stainless steel bracelet. The bracelets appearance is nice, but it is very lightweight which makes the watch feel cheap. The good news is that this problem is easily fixed by picking up a replacement watch band from Panatime.com! More on that in a minute. The only other major thing to be aware of is that mineral crystals scratch easily – so wear this Pro Diver with care!

Watch Bands for the Invicta Pro Diver Series 8928OB

As noted above, we paired these watch bands with the Invicta Pro Diver Model 8928OB. Many of these watch bands will look sharp on other Pro Divers as well, but be sure to double check the band size of your Pro Diver as different models may require different size watch bands. With that said, here are 7 of our favorite straps for the  Invicta Pro Diver!

Panatime Gold Java Rock Python (20 mm)

The Java Rock Python has a wild feel to it – which makes it an unconventional choice for the Invicta Pro Diver watch. Surprisingly, this watch strap looks amazing on our Pro Diver, as the gold python skin complements the logo, dial, and bezel.

RIOS1931 Royal Blue Wave | Shark (20 mm)

There’s something about a shark skin watch band on a dive watch that just feels right. The RIOS1931 Royal brings a little bit of dive culture and nautical lifestyle to your watch and you’re sure to think of the ocean whenever you check the time. We think this combination is a no-brainer.

RIOS1931 Cognac Garmisch | Certified Organic leather (20 mm)

If you’re looking for an extremely soft watch band, the RIOS1931 Garmisch is the perfect choice. Each strap is crafted from certified organic leather and is silky smooth to the touch. We love the cognac Garmisch on the Invicta Pro Diver as it pairs well with jeans, khakis, and dress-casual attire. If you’re in the market for a stylish strap to sport on your dive watch around the office, look no further.

RIOS1931 Mahogany Vintage Oiled Leather (20 mm)

Add some vintage style to your Pro-Diver! This oiled vintage leather watch band has a slightly waxy feel and hand stitched, accent stitching. It’s hard to find a more classic vintage style. This Mahogany strap has deep brown tones and a brownish/red patina that looks great with the gold accents on this Pro Diver watch.

RIOS1931 Mahogany Avenue | Lizard (20 mm)

Teju-Lizard is one of our favorite exotic skins. Both the pattern and grain are so unique and satisfying to look at. Additionally, lizard watch bands always seem to make a watch look classy. If you want to wear your Invicta Pro Diver watch with a suit or formal dress attire, we strongly recommend considering this Teju-Lizard watch band.

RIOS1931 Mocha Imperial | Alligator (20 mm)

The RIOS1931 Imperial is crafted from Genuine Alligator Skin (Flank Cut). The flank cut used for this strap contains smaller grains that vary in size and shape – the pattern can be circular, square, or contain both patterns. We love this strap because of its stylish appearance, and like every RIOS1931 watch strap, it is manufactured to the highest quality. When paired with the Invicta Pro Diver, the watch is perfect for business-casual styles.

RIOS1931 New Orleans | Embossed Leather (20 mm)

We think the RIOS1931 New Orleans is the best embossed leather watch band on the market. Each New Orleans is embossed with a high-quality alligator print that makes these straps almost impossible to distinguish from genuine skins. We paired the Burgundy New Orleans watch band with the Invicta Pro Diver and were blown away by the result. We hope you like this combination as much as we did!
